On 24th January 1993, at St Andrew's parish church, East Hagbourne, the following Declaration of Intent was made by the churches of Didcot and district listed below:
As members of the Christian Church in Didcot and district, serving one heavenly Father, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ our Saviour, and recognising our diversity, we pledge ourselves to grow together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe that we are being led to a deeper fellowship in worship, witness and service and seek to respond in a spirit of faith, sacrifice and commitment.

A constitution was later drawn up and signed on 4th June 1995 by all the founding churches above, as well as All Saint's Church, Chilton and St Matthew's Church, Harwell.
Three aims were also included in the constitution.
Subsequent members include The King's Church, Didcot Community Church, Aston Tirrold United Reformed Church and the Ridgeway Church.
